$7 Shipped for 20+ (haven't counted exactly but you will get in excess of 20), misc sizes. Some small, some larger. Can't guarentee I didn't accidentally grab a MTS or two in collecting them although I did try not to. If you want tracking on the package add another 35cents.

I have two sets ready to ship and can possibly collect another set if demand exists. I'd rather they go to different people than all to one to help

I can take some photos tonight for anyone interested- was running late this morning but I have some bagged.

Care is identical to Malaysian Trumpet Snails- as is their breeding habits. They will reproduce rapidly. Tough snails- not all snail-eaters will be able to eat them- and they will spend a lot of the day hiding in the sand where they stir the substrate.

They lack the spots that red ribbon Malaysian Trumpet Snails have- they have an olivey coloured body and grow bigger than the MTS.

If you'd rather conduct a trade- let me know. Non-plant eating inverts that are compatible with a community tank are welcome. Burgundy, Purple, or a Pink Brigg... Or QMs in exchange for a discount on shrimp (I've got Cherries and Palaemontes- interested in Amanos or other Caridina species)

OK... finally got my photos... could only find an xD card which only works with the old camera- but you can get the idea.

You'll get a mix of sizes- at least 25 (if you want more- I can give you more at no cost... they arn't an ideal snail to feed your fish/assassins though- their shell is too tough and they have a trap door)

$7 per shipment- that's including the cost of shipping. I'll ship them out Tuesday to ensure they don't get entangled in holiday delays.

Bump for fantastic snails! I love mine!

Thank you!!!!

I love 'em too... they're just beginning to over populate a wee bit.

I've been deliberately over-feeding in the tank the last month or so for other reasons- and as a result- I'm beginning to get more quilted mels than I need.

I'm planning on sending two batches out on Tuesday, one of which is extra-large- I suspect I have enough snails for two more batches after that if anyone is interested.

When dusk rolls around in my tank (1/2 lights off)- all the quilted mels come out from the moss where they've been on the driftwood and it looks like pine cones all over the moss.

LOL. I wonder if they would cross breed with the Red Ribbons I have.

they look like my mts whenever i leave the lights on too long. all my MTS turned green from algae on the shell

Some people call the Quilted Mels, Malaysian Trumpet Snail- although I've been told they're technically not MTS- they are a seperate species.

They're closely related to the Red Ribbon's that are the true Malaysian Trumpet Snail though- their face/feet look the same- it's the shell and size that is the main difference.

They're not as common a colour-morph as the red ribbons. I don't think they can cross-breed with MTS because I think they're all females. I don't think either species mates- they just produce clones of themselves. (I could be wrong though). As many of them as there are in my tank I've never seen them breed... not like the other species of snails I have that are constantly at it.

They don't reproduce as fast as MTS- but they still reproduce at quite a fast rate.

Yeah, I don't have the amount of QM's as I do my Red Ribbons, but they're slowly getting there. :) Right now I've got them in my wife's 40 gallon with Red Ribbons.

I think I read that MTS can breed with each other, but it's not required.
