On my dwarf hairgrass i noticed these white things attached to it, is this the start of the hair alage? If so what should I do? 20 long tank 2 20 watt fixtures on a glass hood, liquid trace iron flourish and excel

clean it up with a spare toothbrush for now... you may just have it because of cycling.

Well it's still there, but I hope once the bact bloom goes away, the hair stuff goes too!

you dont have enough light for hairgrass so it may not live long either. you need 2.5-3+ wpg and co2 for hairgrass to actually grow. the regualt strip lights arent enough light for it really.

Crap, I do have co2 but only 2wpg. I guess I'll wait and see
