how long will a yeast based co2 reactor take to start producing co2? :X

I use lukewarm water and it starts up within 45 minutes.

If it is working against an airstone it will have to build a lot more pressure to get bubbles out. Ditto if the line is placed very low in the tank. AT higher pressures, leaks can develop.
Or the yeast is no good. Did you proof the yeast? (See cookbook directions!)
