So I am currently sort of redoing my 10 gallon slowly and have started buying things for a 40 gallon tank also. . . I went to petco today to price fish . . I saw a delta tail betta and it made me miss my betta I used to have so much! So to make a long story short I went home with him!
I have this bowl/vase thing that I used for my past bettas and I acclimated him over a period of like 2 hours. I have had very bad luck with bettas in the past (before I gained more knowledge!). I used the tank water and old gravel from my 10 gallon to hopefully jump start the cycle. I will be keeping a close eye on my params still but he seems to be doin ok. There isn't really anything special about him he's a blue delta tail but I love him anyways
. I am not really happy with the whole vase setup and will hopefully be moving him into a 5 gallon if not bigger tank in the coming months.
