5x Juvenile Skunk Loaches - Very Cute!

They are cute! And yes, I've heard skunk loaches are little terrors! Keep us posted on their progress, Not too many members own them.

Cute, maybe. Terrors, definitely. The last time I had them, they killed two of my yoyo loaches beheading one of them.
They had eleven total at the LFS and I wanted to get them all so badly, but I figured eight was more than enough for the bottom of a 45 gallon (buying five to join my three). I'll let you know how they come along, right now they're just relaxing in a QT tank and chirping softly.
They just arrived at the LFS today so I'm going to QT for a little while longer than usual.
Sorry to hear that, Lupin! My three had done some damage to my Dojo before I got them into a tank with barbs and some small lake t. cichlids. Now they stick to themselves.

Lupe, I had a 5-set that were peaceful except to each other in a 55 gallon.... but it did have lots of nooks and crannies in the tank.... and they did well with even a rainbow shark, some rainbows and a CAE
They're a bit more colorful when the mature. Even though it takes a looong time it's worth the wait as long as they don't cause too much trouble in the process.
