After tearing it apart over and over again, I'm finally somewhat satisfied with this tank and layout. :nilly: Its a ~30 gallon flat tank with lots of cherry shrimp. I might add some stem plants for the back but I'm not quite sure yet since I like where my floater cluster is.

Lately I don't see as many baby shrimplets swimming around, though the number of juvies has certainly increased. Is my tank overcrowded? Is overcrowding more of a physical problem or a water chemistry problem? I dose nitrates to around 15ppm for the plants.

The plants on the bottom are Echinodorus tenellus. It was pretty sparse at first but managed to get pretty thick in about two months. At first I cut the runners near the glass and replanted the daughter plants in the middle to make it thicker, but I think now I'll replant them in my betta tank.

I think there's around 400, +-100. I'm not quite sure how much more it can hold...

Wow that is really nice. I like how the plants are growing towards each other
