My tank is fully stocked now!

Hey everyone. A while ago I was asking about some different combinations of fish for my 29 gallon setup. Anyway, it is now all stocked and doing very well! I decided on:

3 zebra danios
1 leopard danio
6 harlequin rasboras
6 neon tetras
1 clown pleco
2 otos

Looks like a good crew. You might even want a couple extra ottos but they are so hard to care for.

Is it a planted tank? I assume it is.

i have heard ottos drop like flies!!! but the 1st time i bought em' i was expecting the 3 i got to die off it's 7 mos later n they are thriving!!! so i just went n got 4 more for another tank n they are looking great as well!!! for some reason they work well for me

TKOS: No, it's not planted. Well, fake plants.;) I wanted to do the live plant thing, but this is a college tank at school with me, so it's one less thing to worry about. I was considering getting more otos, but I wasn't quite sure if that would get to be too much. I may get 1 or 2 more at some point. Due to their small size, I assume that they aren't big waste producers, so I guess I would be ok with more.

LMOUTHBASS: As for the otos, they were my last addition and were added on Saturday. My LFS had a number of tanks with them and they were selling them for 99 cents each. They all looked really healthy, so looking at all the brown algae in my tank that my clown pleco doesn't touch, I figured I'd give them a go. For their size, they do an amazing job of cleaning up! I had brown algae everywhere and it has greatly been reduced. They still seem to be doing well, so hopefully I'll get lucky and they'll end up living. I was worried about them dieing too, but hey, a lot of people say the same thing about neons, and all 6 of mine are still alive and well and are going on their third week. Maybe I'm just lucky! *knock on wood*
