One of my fish is not listed in the aquariacentral.com database:.Golden Pristella Tetra. (http://www.exotictropicals.com/encyclo/fresh/characins/pristella.php)
Maybe i didn't look under the right name?
It is a fun, non agresive active fish.
I have 3 of them for almost a month now. They are always swiming together.
yea i like em too, hey have you been to the biodome?

I went there a few times the year it opened.
It is a very nice place to visit. Thinking of it, i should go again soon :)

The species index is not comprehensive--there are tons of different fish, and we try to include all we can, but clearly some will slip through the gaps.
Were you looking for another profile, or asking for others experiences?

Well, i just started my aquarium 3 weeks ago.
I have put 3 of them + 3 swordtail to start my aquarium cycle.
They go very well together.
My tank is a 29gal with a 150 aquaclear filter and a UGF powered with 2x 201 hagen powerheads. I have no real plants but i do have a bunch of plastic plants that i have put for the fishes to hide in and also to controle the current inside the tank.
I am looking for some more fish to add that would go nicely with them once my tank as cycled.
I have been checking the amonia since then and hoping for it to get down soon. Once the amonia as went down i am planing on checking the nitrite.
I am eager to add more soon, but i am holding back for until my tank as fully cycled.
These fish as been in since the start they are doing very well, even 1 of my swordtail fish looks like she is going to have babies soon, and have been going with the tank's water and cycle process.
I beleive that adding fish now wouldn't be good for the new comers since they wouldn't be used to a high amonia level :(
