I was wondering what is compatible with a small parrot fish. hes the only one in a 10 gallon.

He will quickly outgrow that tank, I wouldn't recommend putting anything else in there.

Agreed, focus on getting a larger tank...something at least 55 gallons for a full grown BP.

agree with above, it's soo very easy to overstock a 10 gallon when it comes to cichlids, most of the time 1 fish will do it.

Cichlids will not work in a small tank that size. Either get a larger tank (can check craig's list) or return them.

I whole heartedly disagree with the statement that cichlids do not work in a 10 gallon. You can very easily setup a shellie tank that size.
