Hello everyone, great site. I am new to SW but have had FW tanks for years. I just received a 36 gal bowfront tank for christmas. Just wondering if this is an acceptable size for SW. I have read that the bigger the tank the easier it is to maintain. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I would think that would be big enough. I have read about alot of people using 29 Gal tanks. Of course bigger is always better and more water means it takes longer for thinks to go bad. You might want to check out this thread (http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11232) it has alot of good info that helped me out alot. You might also want to check out Reef Central (http://reefcentral.com/forums/index.php?s=&menu=2) there is a ton of good info there.
