moss covered rock

In my back yard garden I have the coolest rocks covered in a natural moss, that just started growing on their own. ( it's a damp area) Can theses rock be used in the fish tank? I want to start a planted tank soon and this is just the look I want.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the same moss you see in aquariums. You could probably get the same look with java moss on a rock or driftwood.
