if i inbreed fish will they come out retarded or have deffects

While inbreeding has little affect on the generation produced from it, there are consequences. As seen in guppies, generations of excessive inbreeding have produced weak fish, some have many health problems and require much more pristine conditions then their wild cousins.
It is best to avoid inbreeding if possible, but it is not completely detrimental to the offspring.
