i went to many places in search of fine sand, the only thing they got close to it is play sand...this is how fine i want it, where do i get it?

check out the stuff at walmart or home depot. some of it might change your water chem. so check it out before using it with fish.

yeah those places didnt even have it anyways, i think my petstore might actually have some, but dont sell it in 50 pound bags , just small ones. BTW whats open tomorrow?

You could try a pool store, they would have sand-sand filters.
If you are going to put live plants in that tank, I wouldn't do it with such fine sand. The roots will not be able to grow properly.

~*LuvMyKribs*~, its not THAT hard to do. You would just have to be careful about putting the tupe too clos, thats it. I'm sure over time, you would have to add more sand though.

If all else fails, I'm sure there are some great online fish stores that you should check out.
