R.I.P. Floyed (the RES)

well come down this morning and found floyed our turtle dead. he had gotten the intake cover off the filter and some how got his foot stuck in it i think he drowned during the night. i feel really bad about this because i think this was my fault because i didn't make sure that the cover was on completely when i redid the plumbing for the filter. but what is done is done, i'll miss him though he was a good turtle.

I am sorry for your loss. Please know that everyone in the aquatic hobby has had accidents of this nature. It doesn't make the loss any easier, but try not to blame yourself too much.
