My friend is looking at making his 75 gallon magenese fish tank. He has hang on back filter and going be putting 2 400B filters on it. He has stock lighting. What lighting should he get for low light plants? Can we use his flourseces or make them into a cfl light fixture? Also what all would he really need for it.

Hmmmm, not sure about the lighting, but if you are talking about putting a jag in that tank, the plants probably will not be there long, IME.

yep....for sure

Managuense a.k.a. Jags will eat anything you put it the tank. You will need to do rock or similar. What they don't try to eat they will try to uproot.

I got rid of mine for that very reason. You need to think very hard about keeping jags. It will need to be a species only tank.

Ok thanks! It is in its seperate tank, I personally think the 75g is small for it cause its so big!
