This morning I recieved a very nice Christmas present. One of my female guppies had had little baby guppies. (my very first spawing) However when I was looking happily at my new babies I realized that one of my female guppies was missing. The mother was still there, she looked very tired and she isn't swimming very much but otherwise she's fine. I was missing her friend though and then I saw my frogs. My frogs are African dwarf aquatic frogs. They only grow to be about an inch long, mine are full grown, and they are the same size as my guppy girls. But this morning two of my three frogs were extremely huge. They ate my guppy last night. Being so fat they were easy to catch and move into my other tank to protect the guppy babies but I was still quite astonished that they managed to eat an entire female guppy.
Now the only occupants of the 5 gal are my momma guppy and two female swordtails, all of which seem to be ignoring the new babies.
