So,

I have several briggs of varying sizes in two different tanks. I have been feeding them ken's veggie sticks with calcium. They all love it. My questions are
-How often should I feed them?
-Is this a sufficient diet? Enough calcium?

One of the tanks has RCS. They also like the sticks...but not as important to FEED them as just supplement a little calcium correct?

Thanks everyone!!

Steph, the first thing we always look for before we keep snails is the pH, KH ad GH. If these are within appropriate levels especially with pH no lower than 7.4, then you won't need to feed them calcium enriched foods as often as some would have due to their own pH problems because of very low KH. You could feed themthe sticks three times a day if you like although my snails are fed twice a day and the ones in goldfish tanks several times since my goldfish are being fed that way.

If you're too lazy too feed them 2-3 times a day, you could supplement with snail-jello or blanched veggies.

But I usually feed my snails about every two days.

Also what is you GH, KH and PH?

I have no idea about GH and KH. My ph runs 7.4ish. I've had them for a little while. They have grown nicely and shells look great.

I feed my snail/shrimp once every 2-4 days depending on how busy I am. They seem to be reproducing so I assume they are being fed enough and are healthy.

I feed my snails 1x a day. I toss a piece of cuttlebone into the tank as my Ph is 6.4-6.8. I also supplement the water with liquid calcium.
