Okay so I have a pair of convicts and I want to put something else with them when I get my 75 gal tank. I was thinking of Electric blue Jack or a Oscar, even something similar. Any ideas?

Try a school of Giant Danios or a larger species of Rainbowfish. They'll provide activity in the upper half of the tank.

I would go with a pair of Rainbow Cichlids or a couple Severums.

Can I put the Rainbow cichlids and the Severums in the same tank? I only have one Convict, I like the look of both of these. Also how many can I put in with the one convict?

I wouldnt put anything with Breeding Cons unless it was big and nasty.

I tried a adult Male Con with my Adult Gold Sev and it was a war.....with the Convict (at half the size of the Sev) dominating.

I have blood parrots and convs together and the blood parrots dominate the convs, so I think it depends on how they get along and it also depends on the fish.

You could add a single Oscar. I kept one with 2 breeding pairs w/o trouble.
