Hey I looked around I have a wierd set up the tank was given to me with a drilled bulk head 1 inch. on the back of the tank about 2 inches from the top. I cut some acrylic and notched it to serve as an over flow which works good. My problem is when the system is going it works great i had to put a ball valve on the out flow to stop the loud sucking sounds which works great but in the event of a power outge is my delima. Ok the power goes out so the pump stops and the water level drops until the syphin is broken PERFECT. not water overflow on the floor or anything. Now the power is back on the syphin wont start back to its original power unless i close the ball valve and wait for a couple bubles to come up and reopen and adjust it. ANY IDEAS???
