3 day feeders are they worth it??

I will be going on a ski trip soon so i need to know. Are 3 day feeders good enogh. I only have 3 fish so will it feed them all. Also do all fish eat them?? PLz help me

I myself would never use those 3 day feeder blocks. I often go to fish conventions for 3 or 4 days and just feed a little bit extra before I leave and all the fish are just fine when I return. BTW, I have anywhere from 30 to 75 tanks going at one time. Never lost a fish from not feeding for up to at least 5 days.

healthy fish shouldn't have a problem going 3 days without food. just feed them right before you leave and as soon as you get back!

IVe read nothing but negative things on those things. The fish just eat stuff off the bottom of the tank and will be fine for up to a week if they are well taken care of. I left my FW tank up in Pullman over Thanksgiving break for a week with no food and not a single loss of a fish!

your fish could survive a week without food and still be healthy. Perhaps just put a wedge of zucc in there for them to nibble while your gone.
