Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into moviegoers' hearts with "Dirty Dancing" and then broke them with "Ghost," died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.
"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf. Swayze died in Los Angeles, Wolf said, but declined to give further details.
What a shame! RIP.

I have been amazed at his will and strength considering once diagnosed with pancreatic cancer most don't make it 6 months. May he rest in peace.

Very, very sad. He was a wonderful man. He and his wife had such a beautiful marriage. RIP Patrick. Condolences to his wife and family.....

He seemed like a real class act. I am sorry he's gone but glad his suffering is over.

I'm not a big fan, but I do give him great credit for enduring so long with the worst kind of cancer IMO.

yea he looked aweful before he died, he really must have been suffering. Glad he isnt anymore
