I hate the guy, has anyone seen the youtube vid of him speaking about Katrina and commenting that "Bush hates black people?" It was evident in that video that Kanye West is unitelligent, misinformed, ignorant POS.
In addition he is an *** for the way he behaved at the VMA's the other night. He should be banned from any upcoming appearances and I hope less people purchase his music, it sucks anyway.
:omg:

Well, let me put it this way. I already don't like rap. I never have.
I respect people's choices in music, but Kanye, in my opinion, isn't talented enough to have an ego. There are some rappers that have a lot of talent, even though I don't care for their music, I still respect that they have put effort and work into their talent and deserved to be recognized for what it is. But that monotone CRAP that Kanye spouts is enough to make me puke on a good day.
I agree with Pink. TOOLBAG.

I saw that and was completely dumbfounded...how awkward it was for both Taylor Swift and Beyonce.

Beyonce showed HER true colors, and it was obvious that she had nothing to do with Kanye's bad behavior. w00t to Beyonce for showing class.

Totally classless act that was perpetuated by a person with immense opinion of self importance.
People like that who think they are a Hot @#$% on a gold platter wake up in the gutter realizing they are nothing more than a cold turd on a paper plate like everyone else. When they fall, they fall hard.
I saw him on Jay Leno I didn't buy his "Oh gee I'm sorry" act one bit! If you noticed he would start the apology and never finished it. He hem-hawed instead. Since this is not the first time he has done this, the only way I would ever believe him is if it never happened again. Unfortunately, a pig in a suit and tie is still a pig.

Thats true and all, but she was all smiles and looking like she enjoyed what he said. If I was her I would have not sat there all giggly, I would have given him a look of disappointment, or disapproval

I think beyonce was kinda if in shock over the whole thing, and she did disapprove of what the toolbag did...
The guy is just a pompas donkey...
Even Elvis and Michael Jackson, who both left more talent in the toilet than he will ever have, never had the additude he has, but its more than talent.. Its about being a person, and having the respect for others that also helps you get and keep fans..

1) He's a pretty crappy rapper, but he's an immensely talented producer, and all the douchebaggery in the world won't take that away from him
2) He was totally right. Not defending his actions, but Taylor Swift's music is disposable at best, and her video quite honestly, was crap.

Kanye's been a d-bag for the longest time, I can't believe it took this long for people to realize that. This is the same guy that whines at every award show because he didn't win, the same idiot supremacist who can't be happy for anyone who isn't black, claims he's so great he should be in the Bible, called himself the new Jim Morrison, said Bush hated black people, etc etc. Ruin a little girl's moment at an irrelevant award show though - that gets everyone pissed.

He's amazing at producing beats and all that background stuff that he did before he became a rapper. He practically had to beg bargain and plead in order for the record company to even let him produce a rap album in the first place.
He is pretty ridiculous. His last album was essentially all done with this "auto-tuning" filter that distorts your voice to sound all electronic like. Its the latest fad in disposable pop music. He pillaged the fad for all it was worth.
Then, Jay-Z (essentially his boss) puts out a new album in which he directly attacks all the tool-bags who use auto-tuning and Kanye gets on pretty much every song that doesn't say anything about auto-tuning and does a crappy verse and acts like nothing is wrong.
He flat out disrespected a 17 year old girl on national television and made a spectacle of his bosses wife. Hopefully after this the only time we will see his name is in the credits of an album he did a beat for because no one wants to actually hear his voice anymore.

Yeah, she has more of a surprised/confused look to her.. I think they're pretty much just trained to smile things off.
Though I'm honestly not convinced that bringing Taylor back to the stage was completely her idea..

From an interview I heard Taylor Swift do she said she was told to go stand by the edge of the stage right before Beyonce's name was announced. All this backlash I understand but I would be willing to bet, maybe not those in this thread, but A LOT of the people bashing him own at least one of his albums.

From an interview I heard Taylor Swift do she said she was told to go stand by the edge of the stage right before Beyonce's name was announced.
And minutes before that happened, a manager or show producer probably went up to Beyonce and said:
"Hey, you should call Taylor back on stage and let her finish"
"What *****?! Hell no!"
"But it'll make you look classy"
"Okay, let's do this ****!"
Yeah, I censored myself with asterisks.

I don't own any Kanye albums, but you're right.. funny how quickly people can turn on you.

I think the majority of people in the world don't know the stuff Kanye did before this incident... I sure as heck didn't. I knew he was a little bit full of himself from the lyrics in his songs, but then again, most big stars are completely full of themselves.
What makes matters worse is that most 'kids'(12-17) see this and think the behavior is almost acceptable... Trust me, 'kids' are just one step away from all being "little Kanye's"
I think what he did was almost typical... 'Thug' behavior.
They gotta stand up fo' dey peeps, and what I thank is right, must be right. So Ima' jump on dat stage and show dees peeps my mind.
I'm 99% sure that's what was going through his mind at that point.
Stupid 'thug' mentality is ruining the whole freaking nation. I hate it and think it's ignorant and dumb. Don't get me wrong, it's not HORRIBLE, but it emphasizes 'me over everyone else' and to take what you want by force. Also only one step from gang mentality. : /
I do hang out with kids who have a mild 'thug mentality', but it isn't that bad. Hopefully I never live in a big city.

If I were to point out every single thing in your post that bothered the hell out of me, I'd be typing for the next week at least. First and foremost, this me before anyone else bs is hardly constrained to the "thug" culture. A culture, btw, that has it's roots in poverty, where such an outlook is actually justifiable in terms of survival. However, when all these little rich kids, hipsters, and the rest of them are on it too, how does one justify that? It's not thug culture, it's the American way, culture of capitalism and the church of consumuer whoring that leads to that kind of thought.
Secondly, I live in the big city and love it to death. How would you feel if I ran my mouth off about not ever wanting to live in some podunk bass ackwards one horse, no traffic stop place holder on a map?

The American way? Um no. I agree with Red Wall, not to sound racist but I feel there is an element of "taking things by force" incorporated into a lot of that type of music and lifestyle. Its in the lyrics, after all.
How can you say that hipsters act the same way? I feel like hipsters are completely on the opposite side of the spectrum.
