View Full Version : croking(sp) pleco? O_O
So im playing RE0 and all of a sudden i hear this weird sound, i thought one of my cats was coughing up a hairball :sick:, but i noticed my plecro swimming upsidedown with his mouth just out of the water and he was making really weird sounds.
o well thought i would share that :P

Good taste in music maybe? hehe, I've seen some strange behavior from my pleco like surfing upside down at feeding time, but I have never heard it make a sound except when I last moved the tank, and then it probably was a grunt of exhasperation at having been caught after a 20 minute chase.

I had a pleco several years ago that would do this almost every feeding. He would just float up there with his mouth to the air and I would sprinkle some flakes into it. It was interesting watching the way his mouth would intake the flake food. All I had to do was tap on the light hood.....and up he would come. He was the only pleco I have ever had that learned to do that.
