We decided to hit the York Fair tonight for my birthday. There were lots of farm animals (lol), lots of fried food, and lots of rides. Here are some shots. I made it a mission to take pictures of animals with fantastic hairdos.

I don't actually eat that stuff, lol...my kids were a bit um.........gassy on teh way home. We all had a nice time though :D I cannot believe my son is almost taller than me now! GAH!

Great pictures! Is that a guinea pig? It doesn't look like a rabit. Our county fair doesn't have guinea pigs. I love them.

Yes, it's an Abyssinian. I had the Peruvians as a kid - the ones with the really long hair. Mine had pedigrees and came from show stock. I never showed them. Who knew there were guinea pig shows!
Can't believe how big the kids are!

This was at teh big fair grounds in the center of York, near the city. I know Fawn Grove though because that is where i went to grade school.

Looks like it was a fun time Rach. I've lived in this area most of my life and I've never gone to that fair. One of these years I'll have to check it out.

lol! Thanks, and for the record, my husband is the one who ordered the deep fried pickles. My daughters each tasted them but were on the fence whether they were good or disgusting. I am leaning towards disgusting.
