I am getting ready to possibly set up a nano cube (see this) and am trying to decide what to feed. I haven't settled on the stock but being a nano, likely goby, anthias, damsel, maybe pygmy angel. What would you suggest feeding? For my FW tanks, I do a combo of New Life Spectrum pellets, shrimp pellets, and frozen bloodworms. Should I follow a similar approach for marine or stick with only frozen?

a pygmy angel wont be too happy in anything less than a 40 from what ive head and they're not reef safe. You're going to have to watch your angel to see if he picks at your corals. And thats a... really heavy stocking list. A veriety is always good but i personally prefer frozen foods. Most damsels, goby's and anthias will accept pellets. Not quite sure about pygmys

For nano tanks, you'll want to stay away from both anthias and most pygmy angels. If you did want to try one of the angels, the argi complex angels are likely your best bet. Do be aware that in the smaller confines, they will be quite aggressive. I don't know exactly how big your nano will be, but I don't even recommend the aforementioned angels in anything less than 30 gallons.

I recommend a good mix of frozen and prepared/dried foods. I would just switch it around and keep the menu unpredictable. Try new things and different brands, etc. and definitely try new types of food, as long as they are acceptable marine fare.

Not sure what your definition of a nano is but anthias need 100+ gallons and I wouldn't put a pygmy angle in anything smaller that a 40 gallon and also +1 to watching your corals with angels. Damsels and gobies are fine but plan on the damsel being the only fish left in your tank. Demons I tell you...demons!

Frozen mysis shrimp, frozen enriched brine, Rods food, NSF or Formula 1 flakes/pellets and occasionally soak your foods in fresh Garlic or something like Kents Garlic Extreme. You could also add Selcon (vitamins/amino acids) to your foods as well.
