There is a wierd on lump on my turtle's foot. It is the turtle I mentioned in an earlier thread and the "tumor" is on the foot with the skeletal disfigurment. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it is or refer me to someone who could identify it.

PS- I said my turtle was a female in the last thread but I've since had a closer look and am now pretty sure "she" is a male lol.

It could be a number of things like a tumor, parasite, or an inflammation. I think it would be a good idea to take the turtle to a vet who specializes in reptiles.

Looks like an abcessed wound.

I agree it looks more like an abscess than anything else. A vet visit is definitely in order.

There is a big difference between a vet and a reptile vet :) Here are a couple in your area that are known to treat reptiles.
