Just posting this here to help anyone else out that has this problem...
Installed a couple of Fluval 404's and used a spray bar for each of their outputs. Well, I was unhappy to hear a very loud whining noise coming from the tank! Seems that the 404's output is high enough to cause the spray bar to "whistle".
Solution? I drilled an additional hole between each of the existing holes on the spray bar, doubling the number of holes. Problem solved! And I like the lower pressure that each "spray hole" emits now as well....
