I will post more later when I have time. I have bin consistent with my water changes and haven't seen any signs until this afternoon. I was wondering what small white (pimple like) spots all over a fish might be? Its Not Ick - it looks like Pimples. He has darkened and is swimming at the top back of the tank. One fin is clamped when he is in one spot. He is still eating. He was perfect this morning. I look this guys over every day and I don't know how this pooped up so fast. This is that same Large Brilliant Blue - AGAIN. Thank's in advance. Arkangel77

Have you isolated him for qt yet? Pictures as well as water params are always essential. Can you describe the white spots a little more? If it is round and it is actually coming out of the skin, it might be skin flukes. If on the other hand it looks more spongy looking, it might be fungi. I'm leaning toward the skin flukes though.

small pimple like protrusions?
are they prominant near the mucous membranes?
along the lateral line?

could potentially be HITH/HLLE.

these can result in pimple like protrusions on the fish HITH(hole in the head) get the name from the prominence of these near the head.
HLLE(Head, lateral line erosion) seem to scatter along the body more locally near the lateral line
the cause has been attributed to a multitude of issues. but in the case of Discus there had been evidence of a small flagellated protozoan associated with this. poor diet seems to be consistent but in the case of the protozoan, it is suspected that the protozoan may interfere with the fishes ability to absorb nutrients, or it intercepts the nutrients as it resides in the gut.
in any case it is remedies with the use of metronidazole. praziquantel is often used in conjunction.jungle parasite clear contains both meds and has been proven effective.
clean water will help in the repair of damage fromt he pimple which often erupt.

Well the spots are not visible today. I just gave his a Salt Bath and he looks better but not sure if this will last or not? The spots WERE raised and comming out of the fish like a pimple.

zero Nitrate, nitrite, & Ammonia

Here is one - there are no bumps today.

What I see today is Dark fish, stressed looking, heavy slime, heavy breathing
