Well I'm going to have my angel fish after all. My husband said it's ok.my plan is to use flourite as the substrate, fill the tank, put the filters on. add plant lighting, plant the aquarium. Then after they've sttledI'll put one of the filters from my 20 gallon and some neons from my 20 to get the cycle started, after it cycles I'll add a few angel fish, 2 or 3. some cories and ottos will round it out

Like to see some pics when your all done!
Not to be discouraging but you should really research/read up on angel fish care. I've read it could be a disaster with three. Unless you have another tank you can move one in to if they start fighting.
Best of luck with your tank, sounds nice.

yes, I agree with GCL. With three angels, you run a high risk of two pairing up and terrorizing the 3rd. I think you'd be better off not chancing it and getting two angels. Your tank plan sounds nice; very similiar to mine. I have 2 angels, 3 oto's, cardinal tetras and am currently looking into getting some cory cats. Best of luck and we'd love to see some pics when your done.

I can move one to the 20 gal if they were to pair up. I've had angels before, I ended up with 4 55 gal to hold the pairs and the spares. watching them breed was quite fun. I had all tanks heavily planted, but could not support the aquariums in a 1 bedroom apt. Thanks for the advice, I'm sure I will be calling on you all again.
