After having relatively good luck breeding convict cichlids this spring and summer I have decided to try something a little different this time. I would like to interbreed the convicts with another cichlid. Has anyone done this? Can you recommend a good species to interbreed them with? I have a 55 gallon tank that I will be doing the breeding in and smaller tanks to separate the parents/fry if need be.
