Safe or not safe? DEAL OR NO DEAL?

Obviously it will raise PH, so that is fine, but anything else to worry about?

I wouldn't use it. Coral is very sharp and that piece would no doubt cause alot of scratches on fish trying to hide in its branches.

I used a piece just like it for a year. The only problem I had was that it gets a lot of algae on it and grazers cut their mouths on it when they feed off it.

I agree about the sharpness being a problem...

The LFS I used to work at had a couple of pieces in each FO tank and I would cut myself up when cleaning them.

No worries. Not my piece, that is just a pic off ebay. Lucky checked for opinions.
