Endlers Black Bar/Red Double Sword Hybrids -- Endlers are a hardy and undemanding fish in the aquarium. Native to Venezuela, this is a small colorful fish, similar to (and closely related to) guppies. They can be jumpers, so a cover on the tank is a must.

The colors of Endlers are very intense, especially the black, orange, and metallic blue/green colors. Their natural patterns are highly variable, though many display a double sword tail. Breeders have developed numerous lines displaying specific patterns and colors, such as red chest, black bar, peacock, yellow sword, etc. Males are small and brightly colored while females are larger.

You'll receive a mix of juveniles and young adults. Juvies will grow up to look like the fish shown below and some other variations in color and pattern.. these are hybrids, not pure strain.

Price $1 each or $10 per dozen (plus shipping).

Edit: Please note the plecos listed below are SOLD OUT. (Just leaving the original text here for reference.)

Tiger Plecos (L002) "Tiger Panaque" -- The Tiger Pleco is a suckermouth catfish that has an olive to tan body with black/brown diagonal stripes. The scales are tough and armor-like, and the dorsal and pectoral fins have sharp rays or spines. Males develop hairlike growths on the pectoral fin rays. Max adult size: 4-5 inches long.

Tiger plecos are small loricarids that are well suited for both smaller and larger aquariums. They are also often referred to as the 'Hairy Pleco,' due to their fur-like appearance. They are peaceful and can be kept with most community species. Their main diet consists of wood, so having driftwood in the tank is essential. They will also eat some algae as well as tropical flake food, sinking pellets, and veggies like cucumbers or zucchini.

Tiger plecos are nocturnal and will require places to rest during the day. Provide hiding places with driftwood and rocks.

Have 5 available at $15 each (plus shipping).

Last 2 plecos pending, so count these as all gone.

I have hundreds of endlers if there's an interest in those. I sell them locally for the most part, but will leave this thread going for a while since I have to thin these down right now.

Thanks everyone!

When you say endler blackbar/red double sword hybrids; does that mean that the red double swords are guppies? Are they a cross between a endler and a guppy?

Thanks.

I didn't see your post earlier, sorry I didn't reply sooner.

No.. none of them are guppies and I'm not breeding them with guppies. At some point in their lineage, they got bred with I don't know what. Maybe guppies sometime in the past.. or maybe just mixed with other cultivated strains of Endlers.

About their source.... I got different batches from a breeder named George (not from AC). They're all Endlers, not guppies. But since George referred to them as hybrids, I knew they're not pure strain or from wild stock. All the offspring they've thrown come out with Endler bodies and markings. Most of them look exactly like black bar endlers with the red double sword tail. But there are some variations... in some of the offspring, the clear part of the tail that isn't normally visible comes out solid black instead of clear (still with the red double sword). And some of them have more blue or white color marks that show up in the same basic endler pattern. They're all very bold, striking... and just beautiful. Personally, I really like having a little pattern variation in the markings instead of them all looking identical.

I've been breeding them for a while now so I have a couple of hundred of them to sell. I'm also planning to take some serious photos of them so you can see what the variant markings look like too. Since I have so many, you could just wait until I get the photos to post here if you're not sure about them yet.

Are you willing to make a quantity break on the Endlers? I have a 72g that needs to have a good group of Endlers swimming around in it...

Sure would. That would work out well for both of us then. Send me a PM to let me know how many of them you'd like to get. We can work out the details directly.
