I am looking to buy some red wag platies so I don't have to buy any fish from Petsmart. I'll pay shipping no problems, just let me know what you have and we can get this show on the road. The fish will need a cold pack for the trip out here, I'm willing to pay for that as well.

How many are you looking for? I might be able to help you out. Are you looking for a trio or more?

3-6 at most. I would prefer juvies, but it doesn't really matter. They just need to be in good health.

Let me check with my friend and see if they still have some to rehome. You looking for trios, females or males or doesn't matter?

The sex/ratio isn't a big deal, if they breed the babies will likely be food(I plan on taking no extra pains to ensure fry survive. If they survive, I have plans to re-home them). If they are all one sex, thats A-ok as well. Keep me posted

you have to be kidding me.. Normally I see people begging to get rid of platies and now no one has any they want to be paid for? Sheesh... I have a couple leads but I'm still looking

I gave all mine away about a month ago so I can't help you out. My friend doesn't have any red wags to rehome at the moment either. Sorry.

cali why not try a LFS? Shouldnt be to hard to find.

yeah, my LFS has them but their fish stock is generally weak, to say the least. The guy I usually order fish from in town doesn't have access to red wags(these are for my mum, and the red ones are her favorite). I was posting on here to hopefully help someone out who was inundated with baby platies and to get good, healthy ones to boot. Oh well, looks like it's off to setup another QT tank and get me some red wags from petsmart
Snikerz, I'll show my mum the balloons and if she likes 'em as much as the wags I'll order some.
Oh ok I got ya. We got some at our local walmart which I work at but there not so happy right now do got a nice LFS who had them last time they looked healthy was gonna get some but no tank space.
