Looking for appistos for new tank,,, Have pandas in another but want more, Can u have two different kinds of apppistos in the same tank..
Any info i would appreciate it.

what size tank? You can have more than one type most likely, but it really dpeends on what species you are interested in adn the tank size.
 
30 gal tank..

Thats exactly what i am asking, experiences on breeding, nicest fish u have had and best way to keep em..
I have read two books but i would like to hear something from the experts like yourself,..

I had 2 pairs of cacs in a 55g. 1 took the middle the other an end & both had fry. Only 1 fry survived while I was on vac.

I don't know about panduros though, my lfs had a pair with another apistos species & there was lots of aggression, maybe even a killing. Seems like it was a 3ft tank.
 
I have a pair of A. borellii in a 20g. Awesome fish! 30g might be too small for two pairs but it just depends on the aggression of the pairs you get.
 
I have a pair of triple red cockatoo and rams no problem in a 55 and 65. Just need some structure for them. I think it will depend on your set up and if you get lucky with the fish you get.
