bump
That is exactly what I use on my 75G. I went with the cheaper ViaAqua reactor (http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_viewItem.aspx?idProduct=VA3311&utm_medium=mdemail&utm_term=mdpromo090925Product10TheNextLevel&utm_campaign=mdpromo&utm_source=mdpromo090925&utm_content=mdpromoProduct10TheNextLevel090925) on my 29G though.. works the same and saves you a little $ and the pump is included.
Rowaphos is expensive and you can get a much better deal on GFO buying from Bulkreefsupply (http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/Carbon-and-Phosphate-Remover-GFO-Phosphate-Remover-(GFO)-High-Capacity-GFO/c109_8_89/p434/1-pound-(453-Grams)-High-Capacity-Granular-Ferric-Oxide/product_info.html).

so you would suggest getting it? do you put the rowaphos into the tube? and they do what they are supposed to... and is there any matience on them?
About once a month or so you have to take the reactor and pump out and change out the media. You replace the media and then run tap, RO, or old water from a water change through it to rinse it out. Lots of fine red dust comes off of GFO that you don't want in your tank. How I do it is fill up one side of my sink with tap water and put the pump and reactor in that side and plug it in and run tap water through it for about 2 minutes, then tip/drain out as much water as I can slowly without dumping the media then put back in the tank. I just replaced the media in both my reactors yesterday actually.

doesn't sound to complicated.. Alright might as well get one i have the money now and i already have free shipping.
SO definitly think its worth it?
For an SPS tank I would say a phosphate reactor is a requirement. If it were simply softies and LPS it wouldn't be as critical.

alright ill be ordering all that equipment tomorrow.
I would recommend the ViaAqua reactor as well. I've been running one for what seems like almost a year now and haven't had any issues with it at all. I mix carbon and GFO all in the single chamber.
