I just bought a 250 watt halide light. It is used, but was only used for a couple of months from what I was told by the seller. I just don't need that much light for lps' and it needs too much energy. Anyone have a compaq light or anything that could sustain lps' that wants to trade? The light bulb still has plenty life left, I just don't need that powerful of a light. I can post pictures later.

How long of a fixture are you looking for?

well it's like 18 or 19 inches. It's a hexagon tank, so it needs to reach deep, like t-5, or compaq.

I have a light for a hex tank. Not sure of the wattage.

Well it's for a coral tank, so I need a t-5 or a compaq light. I just don't need the halide because I am doing lps'.

anyone interested? I don't mind taking a loss as long as the light is sufficient.

im interested... I have a few 30" long fixtures that i want to get rid of:

30" AH supply light with excellent reflector- 55 watt 6700K bulb.. housed in a nice wooden black painted box also from AHsupply.com
I also have a 30inch strip light that is 36 watts- very slim with newer bulbs

Id give you both plus some cash for the MH

Not sure if they will even fit a hex

Well I had no luck with making a trade so I think I will just sell it. From what the guy told me he has only had the hood for a few months and the light bulb is only a few weeks old. He used the light for treating his water and ageing live rock and live sand. I cleaned it up and just want to sell it, because it's too powerful, and uses too much electricity. Make me an offer and PM me. It is a halide, 250 watt light.
