For you planted tank folks out there I have about 5 gallons of Charcoal colored Soilmaster Select that is completely seeded and thriving with benefical bacteria. It also has a bit of eco complete mixed in which goes well with the SS. If you dont want to pay an arm and a leg for expensive substrates AND you want an instant cycle, this is FREE! and its awesome for rooted plants and it looks great. I figure whats in the bucket should take care of any tank up to about 30 gallons with a few inches deep of substrate.
