ok i have a little 2.5g Mini Bowfront tank that i will be setting up for 1 briggs, a few amano and plants and that will be all so i was wondering if 1 10watt compact flourescent bulb would be enough light for low light plants

plants will be:
2 Needleleaf javafern
1 anubias nana 'petite'
hornwort
and some java moss covering a very tiny clay pot if i can find one small enough so that it wont look gigantic in the little tank

thanks for any answers that may come

That will be more than enough wattage for low light plants like those. You may want to keep the photo-period on the short side so as to reduce algae. Is the light in the hood?

yes the light is in the hood

and does anybody have any idea for a ground covering plant that wont get very tall and will do well with no ferts(at most maybe root tabs) or co2

ooh! I doo!! :)
Try dwarf baby tears? It forms a nice carpet (I've never gotten mine too), the shrimp will find lots of food to scavenge for in it.
Hope I help!
