Hello! I am trying so hard to get our 75 gal tank set up but I ran into yet another road block! Now our filter won't work! At first when we tried it was really loud and you could hear the motor moving all around. We looked and saw the shaft was broken. So I got a new one and tried it again (i guess I should have said also that I did prime it, ALOT). The motor is a LOT quiter now, but it is still not running water through it.
Of course we prime it before we turn it on. After we turn it on we continue to prime it, it finally gets pressure and will run smoothly for about a minute and then it stops running and pumping. I have never used a filter like this, so I looked online today for parts and the instructions for this thing. I am positive we are missing the main O ring! So would that be the cause of our problem! If that doesn't work, would you guys have any suggestions! I don't know if I am doing this right and the instructions don't really tell you what you need to know! Thanks for reading!:goldfish:
