I recenty noticed these tiny white/clear things growing on the plants in my frog tank and I would like to know what they are. They eat like venus fly traps, closeing shut rapidly on particals that float by.

Unless there are fry in the tank, I won't get concerned. I've got some hydra, but I think they are more neat than anything. It is as close to soft coral as I can get. Mine formed a tube about 1 inch long that has a polyp coming out of it from several points. They were white. All this was on a sword leaf, once that leaf died the fun was over. :(
