Thanks, NBO (fellow AC member)! I love your goldfish to death.:nilly: They're in the quarantine tank at the moment just in case but so far, they are doing well. I didn't know they were incredibly bulky in size. The photos don't do them justice. They're much bigger in size than the photos seem to show.:bowing:

We had a Ryukin at an auction back in April, man that was funny, I swear it swallowed a golf ball! Nice fish, btw! :)

Eep! I forgot to ask him how old these goldfish all are as NBO is a goldfish breeder with a collection by thousands. All I asked is their genders because I wanted to name each.lmao Ranchu's gender is not known yet but white oranda is male and the rest are females.

*lights up the light bulb for ideas*

Thanks, DD and FB!:)

Thanks, Bea, Kris and Pearl.:) They're now swimming around. My older orandas will be happy to see their new company and Velvet might just flip to see two more new ladies to strike his fancy.:hearts:

I love the black oranda. They look so cute and remind me of puppies for some reason.

Lupe I am in love! You have made some wonderful selections. The white oranda is too beautiful! I have yet to own a ranchu, but someday I will. You can really pick 'em Lupie!

Thanks, guys.:) They're doing well so far while under quarantine and can already eat a lot of foods. I still haven't introduced them in my main goldfish tank as I didn't want to risk infecting my prized orandas, lionhead and a black ranchu with external parasites especially as the new ones above were reared from the ponds and a lot of goldfish that come from ponds harbor flukes and external parasites so they may stay in my tank for 3-4 weeks and once the quarantine is over, they'll be moved to their new home.

A chat with NBO revealed the black oranda may already be 18 months old. The other two orandas are possibly 11 months while the white ranchu is only 5-6 months old.

I think I've found a new name for my white ranchu, Binky. He/She is itty bitty small but very cute.:hearts: I'm still deciding the names of the three orandas.

By the way, in behalf of NBO, here are photos of several ryukins and orandas that he raises. I am hoping to buy more of his orandas sometime soon! His orandas are obsessively cute ad beautiful!

If you look closely on the first photo, he also raises black moors. Somervell, I thought you might like this one seeing as you like black moors.:)

And I am considering a 7.5" demekin named Pirate as his right eye is blind but I do have the space to keep him in. Once I get the others' request orders for their own ranchus, the demekin and a few more orandas may be shipped if I do decide to get more orandas.:) And all these are from the same goldfish breeder, NBO.:D

Here's Pirate.:)

Thanks, guys.:) I got another oranda at 6" which was a bargain by one of the goldfish breeders. The wen is not fully developed and he was mistaken as ryukin or fantail until I noticed he has no hump which ryukins have since it was kept in the pond. The small wen growth was enough for me to quickly identify it as oranda. My lucky day.:D I've visited a couple breeders and they have more large demekins, pom poms and everything else I dreamed of.:nilly:
