omg... place was heaven.. absolute heaven, there was so much coral i couldn't even choose what i wanted to buy, and was so happy i forgot to get the reef glue.

he has this chalice that is 300 dollars, it is all grey (small) with an orange a lime green yellow and blue eye... he calls it the lmtd edition pumpkin patch chalice haha

And the SPS there is fantastic! i am so ecstatic.

i had to have my gf restrain me from buying something big.

best part is they have branch rock which no other LFS has which is great, kinda makes me wanna rethink this floating reef but i dont think im gonna i put alot of time into it.

on another... my harlequin shrimp is dead and all gone :( a little rembrence pic of the little guy (pic to right)

anyways i bought a cheaper coral i forgot the name but heres a pic(pic to left)

looks nice. i like ur signature. my parents are the same way with me and my planted tank. "every time i talk to you there is something new you are buying for you tank!"

hahaha

yea my dad like is getting upset now, i spent a crap load of money on this new tank im setting up and hes getting so upset that i am spending money on stuff lol

btw i think that the new one is a chalice coral

actually im pretty sure its Cyphastrea

Cyphastrea sounds more reasonable... the polyps (eyes, if it were a chalice) are in too regular of a pattern. I've yet to see a chalice grow eyes with that kind of regularity. In any case, still a nice coral.

yea i think it is too! thanks though :)

Yup. A cyphastrea. A really easy and fast grower.
Good luck!

i'm from the same area , where is this new store your talking about. typically i visit (a reef creation) or (the fish place). let me know if you found another local store?
