I have been looking into filter for my 55 gallon and came upon a idea for a hang on the back sump for my tank. Some thing in the range of 24-30" long X 4.25" wide and 10-12" high. I really like the idea of little chance of overflow and it should re-start if the power goes out. I have tired a few canisters but the battle with leaks, nutrient build up, flow is not that great. I do like the AC HOB but i would like larger media area. Suggestions or fears welcome Thanks
