Yesterday I bought a rust/orange colored betta which I housed in my 20 gal community tank. So here's some pics, kinda bad pics from a cellphone I wanted to share. Had to use my phone cam cause my gf wouldn't let me borrow her camera :angryfire: First and second pic you can see the blue glow to his eyes which made me pick him along with his colors. In the third pic please ignore the horrible diatom outbreak I have on my tank right now. Last pic is his home and the other inhabitants. I'll come by later to post some more, hopefully better pics.

Cute betta! I love orange bettas! They aren't that common. I have an orange crowntail, aptly named Blaze.

My lfs has a great betta color selection. It had a purple one and a white one which I was going to buy but it was a bit mature, probably a year old. This one was the youngest I could spot.

Nice!

Here are the last of the pics as promised. You can see he loves to be with his best friend snail Larry. Whenever he's out of the shell Poseidon looks for him and tags alongside. I've seen him staring at the snails for a long time, I guess he finds them strange or something. Best betta I ever got. I'll be getting another one to be put in a 10 gal by himself so will post pics. With a better camera I hope.

Few questions. I have a 125gph in tank filter in my tank as you can see from the pictures. Do you think this current is too harsh for Poseidon? If he has to pass in front of the filter, he moves his fins like crazy, seems to be a bit of work for him. Also what kind of filters would you guys recommend for my 10 gallon betta only tank I'm about to start?
