Went to the reptile show today and we picked up a baby New Caledonian Crested Gecko. It's a real cutie, but doesn't have its tail anymore. Do you guys know if that's a bad thing? I've been doing lots of research and I think it's ok, right?

Congrats! Cresteds are great pet geckos. It will be just fine without a tail. They're one of the only gecko species that unfortunately can not regrow their tail if lost. Many of the wild adults on New Caledonia are missing tails so it's obviously not that important for their survival.
