Hi folks.

My Microsorum pteropus (Jave Ferns) have finally started to produce plantlets. I'm happy to see that!
My question is: How does one go about growing out those tiny little plantlets? There are some decent root structures on a few of them. Do they detach easily from the leaf they grew from? Should i treat them just like mini javas and try to attach them to something?

Thanks for reading

Once they reach about 1-2" or so and have their own roots, I pull them off the mother plant and attach them to there own wood, rock, etc. They come off pretty easily.

Problem is that they are such slow growers with submerged.

I've definitely noticed that! It's taken about six months for even the smallest plantlet to appear. And another month or so for those to get some roots.

I generally just let the plantlets detach on their own, but either way works.
