I am setting up a 90 gallon tank new again from a few years ago and I had previously had 1 oscar and a pike cichlid, which is what I plan on having again. The only filters I had were a fb filter and a AC 500, with very consistant water quality. I feed them many dozen feeders weekly as well. I was wondering if anyone knew of any fish that would not get beat up to help keep the excess food off the bottom of the tank, clean up the tank and maybe some algea as well. Thanks!

What is an fb filter? I would add another AC500 or an Emporer 400 to the tank for filtration.

You could add a decent size Pleco for algae cleanup. Maybe a Common or Gibbicepps, etc. For bottom feeders, you could do a large Synodontus, or a Lima Shovelnose, or another Pimeloid cat that doesn't grow too large. If you want more movement than a nocturnal cat is going to provide, a couple of Tinfoil Barbs or 4 or so Silver Dollars would work as well.

Have fun...
