How much light do I need to keep corals and invertebrates alive in a 10 gallon Hexagon tank? Its 18 inches top to bottom. It currently has a 12'' 8watt 18,000K Power-Glow Bulb in it. I know this is OK for a fish-only tank, but I would like to make it a mini-reef eventually. Thanks :)

A MiniMite PC should work. I would probably not use that tank, though--the limited surface area will make it hard to keep the tank stable, especially with high output lights (=more evaporation, more temp creep). Maintaining sufficient oxygen levels will also be tough, and I would worry that it may be prone to large pH shifts when the lights go off.
Sorry, JMO. I am very biased against hex tanks. I lost all occupants of a 15 gallon hex but a betta during a power outtage. There were 4 other fish--2 cories, a tetra, and a small algae eater. The power was out for 1 hour.
