i just got my hands on a used milwaukee ma957 regulator and 5lb tank for $50. i was wondering if you can use plain water in the bubble counter or what....i have no instructions or anything. it seems to be in decent shape but wont know for sure till tomorrow when i exchange the empty for a full. anyone else have any experience with this brand reg....if so any help at all would be very appreciated

there low quiality regulator set up (ie regulator is good needle valve isn't) but for the buble counter regular whater is fine just know you will have to refill it relatively often. you can also use mineral oil instead of water. one thing is check is that when you put the buble counter back on that it is sealed. when i had a set up with that style of buble counter on it i always got leaks there.

thanks guys i actually found on tom barrs forum thingy i think is where i found it that you can buy vegetable glycerin from the drug store its with the peroxide and stuff and it works excellent makes the bubbles rise slowly like in slow motion i got some at rite aid for like 3 dollars
