You have 4 angels in 65GL, I think you are over your limit as is.
As angels glow you will find they become more agressive, and if a pair forms then watch out.
Plus with all your BNs, I hope you have goods filtration, they do produce a lot of waste.

:iagree:i agree plecos make a lot of waste. you could probably keep all the angels in thr. but do extra water changes as plecos are poop machines

i got one of those canister filters made for a 300 gallon tank so it's definatly filtered enough, i do 25% water changes everyother week, and i top it off on the off week. and it's planted

With that many fish in a 65G you really should be doing a water change every week, and changing around 50% or more. 25% every other week is not really enough. Topping it off on the off weeks is not really doing anything other than topping it off, it does not make it any cleaner.

Do not add any more angel fish. you may find territorial disputes.
also be aware that even BN's may become territorial. I would not keep any more than 1 pair of BN's in a 65.

:iagree: completely.
How large are the angels? Have they paired up?
Males BNs are going to cause problems eventually. They need to stake out a territory...

no the angels havn't paired off (i thought they did once)but i have 2 spare 20 gallons that i plan to set up once they do, there a little bigger than 50cent pieces but they han't grown any in about three months, three of them are standard fin and one a superveil.

Sometimes it just depends on the fish's (what the hell is the plural possessive form of fish? - I slept through English class) temperament. Most of my Half Blacks and wilds are very aggressive, some of my blacks as well and they have been known to kill other angels. The wilds in particular are pretty psycho. My kois, marbles, pearls and zebras are at least two generations away from any wild crosses and wouldn't seem to care if ya dropped a snakehead in with them. If they've been raised together it usually isn't a problem until they mature and begin pairing off to breed. Sometimes this can take a while but it is pretty obvious once it happens because the pair will not tolerate any intrusions into their part of the tank.
Ditto on the crap machines, I've got a bunch but corys rule as tank janitors.
As for the tank size and numbers my limited anecdotal experience is that the more room ya give 'em the bigger they'll get and the better developed the fins. They don't complain much but I'm sure they'd all be a lot happier if I just dechlorinated my pool.
As I'm growing out my angels they do tend to get a little crowded before they get moved to progressively larger tanks, but the filtration and water changes are definitely key. I can maintain good growth rates by just increasing the feedings, but that also means changing water constantly so you need to figure out what you're comfortable with that you know you'll stick with. I've found that one third water changes every 3 days works for me but I've got a crazy collection of HOB, HOT, canisters and sumps with at least two sponges in each tank and filtered powerheads. Don't ever take the manufacturers fishfool thinking too seriously. According to their ratings my 75's have enough filtration for a thousand gallon tank, but 3 bristlenose and a dozen dollar sized angels still need at least 100% water change every 10 days with only two feedings a day. Increase the feedings and that has to happen in a week, Add more fish and I'm doin' 25% every day. Of course I also don't have a life. Consistency is King. :tropicalfish:

:popcorn:Hehehe...
Anyways, I agree that you've already got quite a bit there, so if you have not already gotten the 3 more that you said you were gonna get (besides the 1 you have and the 2 growing out), then I would recommend that you not get them at all. Just keep the 1 you have in there and the 2 growing out for a total of 3. You will still need to make sure that you've got plenty of caves for them to choose from and lots of hiding places.
As for the angels, don't add any more and be sure that you've got lots of tall plants to break up the line of sight in your tank.
